Former sumo yokozuna Akebono just announced he is going to join the K-1 fighters league. He will make his debut at the year-end against former NFL player and current wrestler Bob Sapp. I look forward seeing these two 7-foot heavyweights match up, but can Akebono bring it? After all, didn't he retire a few years ago due to a knee-injury? Be that as it may be, I'm tuned in for this match as I'm very curious how Akebono is going to fight. Pushing Sapp out of the ring won't do here, so all that is left is smack him up real hard since K-1 doesn't allow choke-holds or body-slams. Unless they change the rules.
